I have long loved sending and receiving letters and cards in the post. I've written to a very dear friend for over twenty-five years and love to get her letters and cards every couple of months or so.

Writing a letter or card takes time, unlike the speed of sending an email or online message. That's why they're so special. As our lives become more digital, I believe in the importance of 'snail mail' and returning to more analog ways of communicating.

Cards and letters can be treasured and kept for years, revisited and re-read and collected as precious keepsakes. They map the stages of our lives.

They are tokens of love: the person who sent you the card or letter values you so much that they took the time to write to you. And with the soaring costs of postage these days (it's pretty extortionate here in Sweden), they believe you are worth the expense too.

I want to offer anyone who visits my website the chance to download and send some original greetings cards to their favourite people - a good example of the digital becoming analogue.

I sincerely hope you'll use my greetings cards and send them in the post or use them as gift labels or tags to show a loved one how much you care about them. In the busyness of our daily lives, I think it's all too easy to forget what is important and what truly matters: our relationships with each other.

You can get your free greetings cards, which I have especially designed for you, here: https://www.kjhutchings.com/free-art.

I hope you enjoy sending them.
